LFSR covers a series of experimentatal projects with the eponymous binary algorithm, the Linear Feedback Shift Register. Its interest lies in the versatility of its functions as it can generate pseudo random sequences, digital noise, tones, melodies and polyrhythmic sequences, especially when used with multiple channels.

It was extensively used in a series of live performances for modular synthesizer and drumset with Jacob Richards (and ensemble) between 2016 and 2017, with the Zorlon Cannon mk2 module (8 channels LFSR) at it’s core, programmed in SuperCollider for score generation and CV control from the laptop, and build as a DIY synth (4 channel LFSR sequencer) with CMOS technology.
