	chaosmos
vibrational practice: sound, curation, research, instrument building

	If you listened to the wind, when it blows in the beech trees and bellow in the air;If you know how to listen to the wind, when it leads its clouds like great sea birds, and when it bellowed in the air with its throat of frost;if you have sometimes heard the fountain and the river and the leaf cry, the whisper of the ripe grass in the meadows,you may know what I have to say.You already know it.

(Marcela Delpastre, Prelude to Pagan Psalms - translated from French / Occitan)

In the installation work sensible fields, Silvia Noronha &#38;amp; Niko de Paula Lefort deal with the interrelation between materials and their environment, and how they “perceive” it. In this context, different materials – stones, sand, shells, plastics, earth, metal, electronics and glass – are understood as individual and social entities that influence their environment and whose connections shape the space that surrounds them. Toa follow this basic assumption, the artists install a performative radio transmission ecosystem that recognizes this network of relationships, as well as changes within it, and translates it to sound. sensible fields thus becomes an immersive environmental experience for viewers, as they themselves become part of these interrelationships and are invited to engage with their own position and activity in the space.

Through movement — as viewers are invited to actively participate — vibration and oscillation, the relationships between the various material units are activated and changed. In this process, the electromagnetic environment, which is not visible to the eye, is both tool and material, because environmental information is transported through it in the form of frequencies that make the network of relationships within the space possible in the first place.

Finally, sensible fields is also an observation of everyday being, in which we are continuously situated in a material community with our surroundings.</description>

	RADIO GARDENING Monai de Paula Antunes &#38;amp;
Niko de Paula Lefort
TRANSMISSION ARTARCHIVE PROCESSING

	Radio gardening is a radiophonic environment, mixing heterogeneous content, formats and traditions of radio-making within radio’s own material complexity. Playing on the material-semiotic features of FM transmission, Radio Gardening entangles bodies in space with the immediate electromagnetic environment, sonic archive and live aural material.

	AURALITY
ARTISTIC RESEARCH &#38;amp; PRACTICE
COMPOSITION, PERFORMANCE &#38;amp; INSTALLATION SERIES

	Aurality promotes diversity and inclusion in knowledge making models, with focus on music, sound, and vibrational structures and epistemologies formed by the interaction with the environment and with others in relation. It refers to sounding situated knowledges, acoustemologies and vibrational affect theory. Growing outwards from a research on early American minimalism and tradional musics, with a focus on tuning (Just Intonation, Harmonic Space, microtonalities), it also engaged with several vibrational elements through field recordings, bioacoustics and radio experiments emphasizing their natureculture and shared inner-outer spatial aspects.

	AURAL MAPS
RADIO SHOW &#124; ARTISTIC RESEARCH PROCESSING
On Archipel Stations / FRBB FM88.4 Berlin&#38;nbsp;&#38;amp; 90.1  Potsdam
streaming at archipel.community

In 2020 Aural Maps relayed Comme A La Radio, my show that focused on durational music, going for a mainly live non-linear narrative exploration of Aurality throughout sounds, stories and interviews. Aurality is a concept describing the techniques, modalities, embodiments and effects of information 'carried on' or 'engraved in' sound waves and vibrations.Presented more or less regularly as a quaterly 2-3 hours live show, also with guests and live performances.

upcoming: Aural Maps :: La Nòvia[EN]&#38;nbsp;work in progressseries of free form radio shows on occitan tradition through interviews and recordings of artists from collective La Nòvia and field recordings. Recorded on the field in June and August 2022, funded by Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe.&#38;nbsp;
previous transmissions:

AuralMaps#7 in which we are blown away by Aluar Horns and shivered by Zar voices, transcended by all kind of sublime percussions as we wonder from Zaire to Cairo to Ramala to Nigeria to Brazil to the Alps and beyond, a timbral stopover in Berlin and going for a lunisolar walk through champak flowers to visit modern and contemporary ghosts of Makan

AuralMaps#6 in which we invite Berlin based improvisors JD Zazie, Tony Elieh and nikoLFO to radiate between bookshelves some live electronics and field recordings from around the world at Zabriskie bookshop, to later on seat and talk about the secret cinema room of the library of Alexandria

AuralMaps#5&#38;nbsp;in which we settle in Berlin Neukölln’s new music venue KM28 to listen under the aula of Karlrecords to the encounter of 3 fantastic improvisers, Audrey Chen, Ale Hop and Aidan Backer, and receive intermittant rays of sounds from West Africa, Algeria, Middle-East, South-East Asia via Berlin, and Occitania

AuralMaps#4&#38;nbsp;in which we listen to arboreal matters, discuss decentralized electronics and Roma music, hang out at Café Aman, get transported by the beauty of an out-of-time / out-of-place improvisation, learn about equivalencies in the vibrational multiverse and anti-gravitational voices, are teared appart by other voices, from the Psyche, from the Andes

︎︎︎Aural Maps #1 to #3 listings of content with coresponding links here

AuralMaps#3&#38;nbsp;in which we make kin with sonic monsters from Mali and Java, deep dive in modern cathartic rituals, surface in the occitan sky towards spiritual ecstasy with the Coltranes, and, returning to Mali via the Amazon, pay tribute to Yehia le marabout

AuralMaps#2&#38;nbsp;in which we follow Fodéba Keita and the Ballets Africains in their panafrican journey, receive Postal Pieces from the Harmonic Space people, take a walk through a radio garden, meet occitan birds and poets blowing down walls, and get enlighted by the joint endeavours of troubadours and Sufi poets

AuralMaps#1&#38;nbsp;in which we learn from occitan folk songs, listen carefully, silently in kissa bars, meet spirits from across Brazil cosmologies, travel to the moon and back, to Brazil again, cross the harmonic space and get stuck in a transcendental degradation loop
